Fubara Visits Tinubu in Lagos

Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, visited President Bola Tinubu at his private residence in Lagos on Monday, June 3.
The visit comes months after President Tinubu suspended Fubara from office on March 18, alongside his deputy and 26 members of the state House of Assembly.

The suspension was linked to the lingering political crisis between Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, who currently serves as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Fubara’s visit has sparked renewed interest in the ongoing power tussle in Rivers State, with many speculating about possible reconciliation efforts or political realignment ahead.
