At least eight people have been killed and several others injured, including students and teachers, in a devastating school shooting in the Austrian city of Graz.
The tragic incident unfolded at a secondary school located on Dreierschuetzengasse street in southern Austria.
State broadcaster ORF reported on the unfolding crisis, citing local press. Authorities swiftly established a police cordon around the area as emergency services converged on the scene.
Suspect Reportedly Committed Suicide
Reports indicate that the suspected perpetrator, believed to be a student at the school, committed suicide after the attack.

While a significant police operation was underway, authorities have initially refused to make further public comments as they work to ascertain the full scope of the tragedy.
