Judge Orders Sale of Accused Teacher Brittany Fortinberry’s Marital Home Amid Felony Charges
Brittany Fortinberry, the former school teacher facing a staggering 41 felony charges related to alleged sex crimes involving minors, has been ordered by a judge to sell her marital home.

This directive comes as Fortinberry remains in jail, accused of engaging in disturbing sexual encounters with junior high students, some of which allegedly took place at the Indiana property.
According to divorce documents, Fortinberry and her estranged husband, Nicholas Fortinberry, have stated they can no longer afford their residence.
Nicholas filed for divorce in February of this year, around the same time police initiated their investigation into Brittany’s alleged crimes.
The divorce filings reveal that the couple previously relied on monthly benefits from the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs to cover their bills.

However, this money is reportedly no longer being deposited into their joint bank account. Fortinberry claims her funds are now being funneled “elsewhere,” preventing Nicholas from accessing the cash and making it difficult for him to meet the monthly mortgage payments.
In light of these financial difficulties, the judge recently granted Nicholas’ motion to list their home for sale. The property’s exact listing date and price are currently unclear.
Brittany Fortinberry is accused of sexually abusing multiple junior high students she encountered at two different schools.
Authorities allege that she would provide the minors with alcohol and magic mushrooms before engaging in sexual acts.
In one particularly disturbing alleged incident, she is accused of orchestrating an orgy where the boys were made to wear masks from the “Scream” movie franchise.
Fortinberry has pleaded not guilty to all charges and remains in custody.
