22-year-old lady kidnapped after boarding tricycle

22-12 months-Outdated Girl Kidnapped After Boarding Tricycle in Asaba

A 22-year-old lady, Uche Chukwurah, has reportedly been kidnapped after boarding a tricycle in Asaba, Delta State — a case that has sparked rising concern throughout social media.

The distressing information was shared by human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu in a current Fb put up.

In line with Gwamnishu, Uche was kidnapped on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, after she boarded a tricycle round Ibusa Junction in Asaba whereas returning house from work.

Later that evening, her abductors reportedly reached out to her household and demanded a ransom for her launch. Sadly, her father has been unable to lift the demanded quantity, leaving her nonetheless in captivity.

Sharing particulars of the incident, Gwamnishu wrote:

“22-year-old Uche Chukwurah closed from work on Wednesday, twenty ninth October 2025, and boarded a keke round Ibusa Junction, Asaba, however she by no means made it house.
That very same evening, her abductors contacted the household, demanding a ransom. Uche continues to be being held captive, as her father can’t afford the quantity they’re asking for.”

He additional lamented the rising circumstances of abductions, questioning how secure peculiar residents can really be.

The incident comes shortly after the discharge of Aisha Wahab, who was freed in Edo State after spending two weeks in captivity and following a ₦20 million ransom cost.
