Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Employees, Common Olufemi Oluyede, has dismissed claims of an ongoing Christian genocide within the nation, clarifying that Nigeria’s major safety problem is terrorism, which impacts residents of all faiths.

His remarks are available response to current feedback by former U.S. President Donald Trump, who voiced concern over alleged assaults on Christians in Nigeria and even hinted at a doable army intervention if the difficulty persists.
