Lady cries out, says her life got worst after joining Hallelujah Challenge

AdminBy AdminNovember 13, 2025Updated:November 13, 2025No Comments1 Min Read

A Nigerian woman has shared a distressing video claiming her life took a turn for the worse after she participated in the popular Hallelujah Challenge prayer sessions hosted by Pastor Nathaniel Bassey.

In the clip posted on TikTok under the username @mirriam231, the lady tearfully narrated how her problems multiplied following her involvement in the spiritual programme.

She questioned whether anyone else who joined the Hallelujah Challenge experienced setbacks instead of breakthroughs.

In her caption, she wrote:

“Is it me or things just got worse after the Hallelujah Challenge? Devil you’re a liar. God is still good and faithful. God please help us.”

The post drew widespread engagement on TikTok. Some users encouraged her to keep faith, while others shared similar experiences of increased challenges after the prayer sessions.

One commenter wrote, “It got worse lost everything I was scared of losing… scarified my sleep and never missed a day only for things to get worse. I’m so angry I cried so much.” Another said, “Be patient God will definitely come through for you.”

While many participants of the Hallelujah Challenge testify to positive change, this woman’s story highlights a contrasting perspective — that faith journeys sometimes take unexpected turns.
