If he didnt bite me, things would have been worse – VeryDarkMan opens up on mid-air clash with Mr Jollof

Popular social media activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM) has opened up about his mid-air altercation with comedian Mr. Jollof aboard a United Nigeria Airlines flight from Asaba to Lagos.

What started as a long-running online feud escalated into a physical confrontation, which quickly went viral on social media.

VeryDarkMan “If he didn’t bite me, things would have been worse” – VeryDarkMan opens up on mid-air clash with Mr Jollof

Taking to his Instagram, VDM recounted the tense moment, saying:

“Something in me is really happy that Jollof bite me. I swear to God. That was when I came back to reality, I want to actually appreciate him for biting me, cause my enemies would have mocked me. The whole situation could have gone south. Honestly, it would have gone south. But thank God it did not end up like that.”

Referencing comedian Funnybone, VDM added that he had no issues with him and did not understand why he was holding him back so Mr. Jollof could attack him.

The incident has sparked debates online about how online conflicts can spill into real life with many criticizing both men for fighting in a confined space.

While the altercation could have been far worse, VDM claims that his restraint prevented a more dangerous outcome that could have led to disaster.

VDM and Mr. Jollof, who were deboarded, are at risk of sanctions. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) condemned the fight, warning that penalties, including prosecution or no-fly restrictions, could be applied.
