President Tinubu, its time for you to resign now – Issac Fayose

AdminBy AdminNovember 19, 2025Updated:November 19, 2025No Comments2 Mins Read

Issac Fayose, a younger brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resign without delay.

He made the call in a viral social media video where he addressed the president directly and insisted that Nigeria now needs a younger leader.

Fayose urges Tinubu to step down

In the short video, which lasted about three minutes, Fayose pleaded with President Tinubu to resign if he can no longer lead the country.

He opened his message by saying: “This message is for my President, President Tinubu, I think it is time for you to resign now.”

Concern over insecurity and hardship

Fayose questioned how the president remains comfortable despite killings, insecurity and deepening hardship across the country.

He asked: “How do you feel comfortable being President over a failed nation. How do you feel comfortable being President over insecurity?”

Laments Kebbi abduction and attacks on soldiers

He condemned the kidnapping of 25 schoolgirls in Kebbi State and the killing of the school’s vice principal.

He also lamented the rising deaths of Nigerian soldiers at the hands of terrorists and bandits, wondering how the president stays calm while these tragedies continue.

Calls for immediate resignation

Fayose ended his message by demanding that President Tinubu resign and step aside for a younger person to lead the nation.
