A mother of three who recently welcomed a set of twins has appealed to Nigerians for support after her husband reportedly abandoned her in the hospital.
The woman, now caring for five children alone, said she has gone days without food and cannot afford basic items for her newborns.
Good Samaritan Clears Hospital Bills
A TikTok user, @singledemon1236, who first met the struggling mum at the hospital, said she stepped in to help settle the woman’s medical bills.
She explained that although she has been doing her best to support the family, the burden is too heavy for her alone.
She said: “She was abandoned by her husband when she gave birth to twins. She cried out for help, that’s when I saw her and I assisted her with the medical fee. Now she’s back home and I have also been trying my best for her and her remaining 3 kids. Still, I can’t do it alone
I’m also fighting for myself
that’s why I’m calling out for help for her. Please, no amount is small to assist a soul.”
“Now she’s all alone with 5 kids after the husband ran away, after she gave birth to twins. He left her in the hospital. The twins are just 2 months old. The mother of the kids hardly eats, and the kids’ medications are almost finished. The little clothes I bought them are still the ones they’re managing. Please, I beg everyone in GOD’s name, she needs your assistance. I’m begging on her behalf,” she added.
Mother Speaks Out
In the video, the mother spoke in Yoruba, confirming that her husband abandoned her shortly after she delivered the twins.
She added that she is struggling to feed herself and her children, making daily life extremely difficult.
Her frail appearance in the clip has stirred emotional reactions online, with many viewers calling for immediate assistance.
