The Academy of Country Music Awards is returning to Las Vegas.
ACM, Prime Video and Dick Clark Productions said Monday that the show will return to Vegas after taking place in Frisco, Texas, for the past three years.
The 61st edition of the show will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and stream live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

It truly feels like a homecoming for us,” said Damon Whiteside, CEO of the Academy of Country Music.“There’s no better place to host an exciting, global Country Music celebration than fabulous Las Vegas!”

This year’s 60th anniversary show, hosted by Reba McEntire, featured performances and appearances from more than 40 artists, including Alan Jackson, Backstreet Boys, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Stapleton, Ella Langley, Eric Church, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, LeAnn Rimes, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts and Wynonna Judd. The broadcast reached audiences in more than 240 countries and territories.
ACM Awards Week will kick off in Las Vegas on Friday, May 15. Tickets for the 61st ACM Awards and surrounding ACM Awards Week events will go on sale early 2026.
Additional details for the 2026 ceremony will be announced in the coming months.
The ACM Awards tout itself as the first major awards ceremony to exclusively live stream, in collaboration with Prime Video. Since forming its partnership for the 57th ACM Awards, the show has been hosted by Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks and Reba McEntire. It’s also the first country Music awards show to be nominated for an Emmy.
