Ilana Glazer is launching a new comedy and socio-political video podcast.
The podcast, It’s Open With Ilana Glazer, will include solo episodes with the Broad City star and guest episodes including her Broad City co-creator and co-star, Abbi Jacobson (with whom she chats about internet trolls and being online, among other subject matters), comedian Atsuko Okatsuka, New York City Council member Chi Ossé and Eliot Glazer, Ilana’s brother and comedian and author.
The podcast launches Dec. 4 with a solo episode and an episode featuring Michelle Buteau, Glazer’s Babes co-star.
Glazer’s Starrpix Productions is producing the weekly series, with new episodes released Thursdays on YouTube and on all audio platforms.
“I’m energized and inspired to talk to the people in this direct-to-consumer way, with total creative control. This is the medium of the moment, and me and my small but mighty creative team are excited to deliver a product every week that’s entertaining, welcoming, and beautiful,” Glazer said.
In addition to co-creating and co-starring in Broad City, Glazer co-wrote, produced and starred in Neon’s Babes and premiered her stand-up special Human Magic last year on Hulu. She made her Broadway debut in the 2025 stage play Good Night and Good Luck, starring George Clooney.
The IT’S OPEN with Ilana Glazer creative team includes Annika Carlson, Broad City producer Kelsie Kiley, producer and tour manager Madeline Kim, Glazer’s Generator co-founder Glennis Meagher, Tovah Leibowitz from the Broad City editing team, and Glazer’s husband, David Rooklin. The audio-visual team includes Raymo Ventura, Lexa Krebs, Kevin Deming and Nicole Maupin.
