Outrage as Family Alleges Missing Organs in Deceased’s Body at Benin City Mortuary

Tension reportedly erupted at a mortuary in after relatives of a deceased man alleged that some of his organs were missing, sparking outrage and chaos at the facility.

According to reports, the family had arrived at the mortuary to collect their loved one’s body when they noticed something was wrong. They allegedly discovered that vital organs had been removed, leaving them shocked and distressed.

In a video circulating online, a woman filming the scene claimed that the man’s chest cavity was empty and that nylon had been stuffed into his abdomen. Her allegations quickly drew the attention of other people at the mortuary, escalating the situation.

As anger grew, mortuary attendants were reportedly hurried into a minivan and driven away from the premises amid loud boos from onlookers. The crowd was said to have chased the vehicle and pelted it with stones as it left the area.

In the footage, the woman could be heard lamenting in pidgin English, expressing disbelief that the body they came to retrieve was allegedly missing its internal organs.
