A Nigerian man who met a woman at a car lot and collected her phone number has shared the shocking message she later sent him on WhatsApp.
The viral exchange was posted on X (formerly Twitter) by @Teniola, who shared a WhatsApp screenshot of the chat and voice note (VN) which explained the incident.
According to the man, both him and the lady visited a car lot to purchase vehicles. After collecting her number, he reached out to her, only to receive an unexpected response.
In her message, the lady expressed her frustration:
“I can’t help you and you can’t help me. We were buying cars together, you collected my number and I thought you’d sort out my bills. Instead, you paid for only yours and left me.”
She questioned why he felt comfortable texting her after failing to pay for her car, despite knowing she was also buying a vehicle.
She also added that she had expected him to cover her bills and criticized his mindset, stating that a man who genuinely wants a woman should be willing to handle her responsibilities.
The agitated lady also accused him of carrying “broke energy” and said he had already ruined his first impression.
The post quickly went viral, sparking massive reactions online, with social media users divided over expectations in dating and financial responsibility.
