The former deputy PM is penning a book about her rise and astonishing fall from government as rumours swirl that she is plotting a comeback.

Sir Keir Starmer will be on tenterhooks to see if she dishes out any criticism of him that would stoke a leadership challenge.
PR guru Mark Bukowski said: “The money comes from how many cans of beans she spills. She could get £1million – if she has a great agent.”
He said the book will rightly spark panic in No10 as they will have “no control” over what Angela says .
But he warned the memoir is also a risk for Angela, who may see her credibility shredded if she is too scathing about her Labour colleagues.

Keeping taxes low is good for growth – but Reeves doesn’t seem to have a clue
Mr Bukowski said: “As soon as you have got one of your inner circle going rogue it is going to give you concern.
“You have no control and she is out in the wild.
“But it is risky for Angela Ryaner too and her credibility.”
Ms Rayner quit as Deputy PM and Housing Secretary after The Sun on Sunday revealed she had bought a second home in Hove – which she failed to pay £40,000 of stamp duty tax on.
Her book will be the most hotly anticipated memoir in Westminster for years.
But it will plunge Angela and her family’s personal and business affairs into the spotlight once again.
The book is expected to be published in the second half of 2026 – meaning it could cause fireworks just as the Labour party conference kicks off next autumn.
