An old prophecy about a boxer losing loved ones has resurfaced online following news of a road accident involving British-Nigerian boxing star Anthony Joshua in Ogun State.
The prophecy, shared two months ago by a prophetess identified as BrightTheSeer, recently regained attention after a video resurfaced on TikTok.
In the clip, the prophetess spoke vaguely about a boxer and the loss of loved ones without mentioning any name.
Following the recent incident, some social media users have linked the prophecy to the accident. The resurfaced video has since been widely circulated across social media platforms, sparking mixed reactions.
While some users believe the prophecy foretold the tragic event, others dismissed the connection as coincidental and overly speculative.
The renewed discussion follows a reported road accident involving the 36-year-old boxer on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State on Monday.
Two members of his entourage were confirmed dead, while Anthony Joshua reportedly sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for medical attention.
Online reactions have been divided. Some users expressed fear and concern over spiritual interpretations, while others urged caution, warning against drawing conclusions between prophecies and real-life tragedies without clear evidence.
