The former midfielder and current Under-18s coach looks set to take charge of Manchester United on an interim basis following the sacking of Ruben Amorim.

Amorim, 40, was relieved of his duties on Monday after 14 months in charge, with United sitting sixth in the Premier League after 20 matches.
Reports suggest a permanent appointment is unlikely until the summer, meaning Fletcher – whose first game will be away at Burnley on Wednesday night – could remain in charge until the end of the season.
Fletcher previously served as a first-team coach under Erik ten Hag before taking over United’s Under-18s last summer. His side currently sit second in the U18 Premier League, boasting the division’s best defensive record and third-highest goal tally.
