Alex Otti didnt build those roads – Doris Ogala backs Orji Kalu

AdminBy AdminJanuary 11, 2026Updated:January 11, 2026No Comments2 Mins Read

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has stirred fresh political debate online after openly backing Orji Uzor Kalu, over his recent comments about Abia State Governor, Alex Otti.

The controversy followed remarks by the former governor and current senator, who accused Governor Otti of being inactive in office.

“Alex Otti didn’t build those roads” – Doris Ogala backs Orji Kalu

According to him, the governor has not initiated any major projects in the state, aside from repainting roads that were constructed during his own administration.

Reacting to the criticism, Doris Ogala took to her Instagram page to publicly defend Orji Uzor Kalu, whom she described as her boss, insisting that his claims were factual.

In her words, she said:

“What my boss, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, said about Governor Alex Otti is true. Alex Otti is only repainting roads that were originally built by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.”

She maintained that the roads currently being showcased by the present administration were originally built during Orji Uzor Kalu’s tenure as governor of Abia State.

Her statement quickly sparked mixed reactions across social media platforms, while some praised her for speaking what they described as the truth, others slammed her for downplaying the current administration’s efforts.
