My talking stage costs ₦5m–₦10m – Lady sets high dating standard

AdminBy AdminJanuary 18, 2026Updated:January 19, 2026No Comments2 Mins Read

A Nigerian lady declares that any man interested in her must be financially prepared to spend between ₦5 million and ₦10 million within the first week of their “talking stage.”

In a viral video rant, the lady insisted that financial commitment is her primary way of assessing a man’s capacity to date or marry her, dismissing conversations without spending as a waste of her time.

“For me and you to be in a talking stage, you should be ready to spend at least 5 million to 10 million naira in the first week of us talking,” she said.

Lady questions the point of casual talk

She argued that words alone hold no value without financial action, questioning the purpose of casual conversations such as discussing favorite foods or daily activities if money is not involved.

“A talking stage for me to know if you have the capacity to date me or marry me… if I’m talking and you’re not pressing money so what should i use your words to do?” she asked.

Lady warns off broke men

The lady also warned men who cannot meet her standard to look elsewhere, stating clearly that she is not interested in managing or “raising” anyone financially.

She went further to justify her stance by highlighting her appearance, self-care routine, and educational background, stressing that she does not want anyone to waste her time going forward.
