THE MASKED Singer’s fans think Toastie is a beloved chef with a musical past linked to an iconic singer.
Viewers of theITVreality series, which airs on Saturdays, reckon they’ve got the breakfast snack sussed after their performance ofBenson Boone’s hit song, Beautiful Things.
Toastie belted the Billboard award winning song, impressing judges Maya Jama, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross. Little Mix star, Perrie Edwards also sat on the panel as a guest judge.
The video of Toastie’s performance was shared to The Masked Singer’s official TikTok with plenty of people sharing their ideas on who could be in the costume.
“It’s Andi Oliver clear as day! She has an incredible voice and used to be in a band with Neneh Cherry,” wrote one person in the comments.
Andi is a London-based chef who is the hostof the Great British Menu and is in fact, great friends with Buffalo Stance singer, Neneh Cherry.

She is, of course, the mum of presenter Miquita Oliver.
In 2007 she fronted her own show with Neneh Cherry called Neneh And Andi Dish It Up onBBC Two.
They formed the post-punk band Rip Rig + Panic and toured around in the early 1980s after meeting at Andi’s brother’s hospital bedside.
“We stood in the hallway of the hospital, had a fag, and decided we’d sing together,” Andi told The Guardian in 2024.
“She’s one of the greatest love affairs of my life – one of several people I don’t know what I’d do without.”
Andi added of their touring days: “We’d throw a party, then buy a bathtub full of mackerel to gut, clean and fillet. We were creating safety and family through food.”
Other Masked Singer fans agreed with the fan’s guess that Andi may be Toastie.
“I’ve been saying this from day one and not seen anyone else comment it. The voice, the cooking references, references to ‘backing’ on latest show,” replied one person.
As well as Andi, viewers previously guessed Toastie might very well be, Mica Paris.
They speculated the Where Is The Love hitmaker, 56, is being disguised by the breakfast treat, whose outfit is adorned with a red wool hat.
During the preview clip, images of comedian Peter Kay and BBC Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox, both from Bolton, flashed on-screen.
Fans reckoned the Bolton link was actually a nod to the queen of soul’s duet with musical theatre star Michael Bolton.
The pair collaborated on the 2009 charity track, We Will Remember Them, to support military families.
The My One Temptation songstress’ stellar vocal talent also led to viewers suspecting she’s Toastie’s true identity.
