A Nigerian lady has recounted the harrowing experience of her elder sister, who was bitten by a snake not once, but twice.
In her video, she also spoke about snakes in general and a possible way to prevent them from getting into the residence.

Lady says sister suffered two snake bites
The incident, shared by @blessdiri, captured the attention of Nigerians who got emotional and lamented over the pain the lady may have felt.
It was gathered that the sister’s ordeal began when she was bitten by a snake while gathering firewood inside the bush.

Despite the severity of the situation, she managed to tie the affected part of her body and walk back to her home, a journey that took over an hour.
It was there that her family sprang into action, administering a series of traditional treatments such as red oil, kerosene, and bitter cola.
Interestingly, the lady said her father had always advocated for keeping bitter cola in the four corners of the house to deter snakes.
According to her, her father always claimed that the presence of bitter cola would scare snakes away and prevent them from entering the home.

But she said d raw cassava has d ability of neutralizing the effect of d poison and I guess its true but that isn’t all d remedy tho, it’s just a form of first-aid.”
