A Nigerian lady’s harrowing experience with a snake in her home has surfaced online in the wake of the tragic death of talented singer Ifunanya Nwangene who lost her life to a snake bite.
The lady told the scary story of a night she will never forget, when she stumbled upon a black snake in her house, initially mistaking it for a rope.

Identified as Uzoma Julian Humphrey on Facebook, the lady recounted how she mustered up the strength to kill the snake, thanking God for granting her the courage to do so.

She wondered what steps to take next, questioning whether to fumigate her home or move on from the experience.
In her words:
“When I heard about the young girl who died from a snake bite, my heart became heavy. It reminded me of a night I’ll never forget. I was about to lock my door when I saw what I thought was a rope until I looked again. It was a black snake inside my house. By God’s grace, I had the strength to k!ll it. So I’m asking after something like this, should I fumigate my house or just move on? Life is truly fragile. May her soul rest in peace.”
