A WOMAN has revealed she’s been endlessly mum-shamed for gifting her daughter plastic surgery vouchers for her seventh birhtday.
Sarah Burge, 64, made headlines a decade ago after spending a staggering £500,000 on 27 operations, plus countless other cosmetic treatments, to turn herself into ahuman Barbie doll.
Since then, the mum-of-three, from Cambridge, has forked out a further £100,000 in pursuit of eternal youth.
Sarah caused major controversy in 2010 when she gave then-15-year-old daughter, Hannah, Botox in her face – and a rather bizarre present for Poppy’s seventh birthday.
Speaking about the mum-shaming, Sarah told Botched: “I’ve been criticised for Botoxing my daughter, for pole dancing with my children.”
Hitting back at her critics, she continued: “I mean, that’s all good fun actually.

“A great exercise and more people should cash in on that one.
“When Poppy was seven years old, I gifted her plastic surgery vouchers.
“Doesn’t every child want plastic surgery vouchers? I mean, she does.”
Despite the criticism, Sarah didn’t see anything wrong with it, explaining she was simply keeping up with the times.
“I consider it modern-day parenting to have an open dialogue with your children.”
The mum-of-three, who started drastically changing her appearance when she was 26, has gone under the knife for a number of procedures, including breast reduction, breast uplift, plastic implants, as well as nose “done several times” – just to name a few.
“Liposuction, tummy tuck, more liposuction, fat transfer – absolutely everything from head to toe,” she said in the interview.
But while 64-year-old Sarah has had £600k worth of cosmetic work, Poppy – who is now in her early 20s – has embraced the natural look and has no intention of going down the same path as her mum.
She’s even gone so far as saying she’d ‘hate to be plastic’ and meanwhile, Sarah confesses she’s jealous of Poppy’s appearance.
After she made headlines with the shocking gifts for Poppy, which included £7,000 for a breast enlargement for Christmas, Sarah was sent death threats and was told she was the worst mum in the world, she told us.
Although Poppy loves the way she looks – and doesn’t understand why women want “to be clones of each other” – she doesn’t blame Sarah.
“But I’m far from being jealous of her looks, she’s jealous of mine because I’ve got qualities she doesn’t have – I’m natural and comfortable in my own skin and of course young!”
The mum-of-three previously said: “The way I see it is that surgery is empowering, a way of taking control over the way you look.
“Poppy is far from just being obsessed by her looks.
“She’s on her way to qualifying as an airline pilot – she’s well balanced and doing great.”
