MICHAEL SMITH has blasted Mickey Mansell as a “horrible player” after failing to qualify for the Poland Darts Masters.
The former world champ narrowly missed out on the European Tour event after losing 6-3 to the Northern Irishman.

Bully Boy appeared to take a swipe at Mansell’s pace of play.
Smith wrote on Facebook: “Imagine doing that to win a game. Tinkerbell won’t come along and move your darts for you.
“No need stand looking at the board for 15 seconds. Horrible mentality. And horrible player.”
The World No32 remains in a first reserve for the competition based on his ranking position.

Mansell’s methodical style has often split opinions on tour.
Jonny Clayton famously admitted after facing him at the 2025 World Championship: “I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy,” as he struggled to find any rhythm against his metronomic, unshakeable throw.
Two-time major winner Smith previously hit out at the ‘Colone Cyclone’ after their 2024 World Championship clash.
He said: “If he had 136, he’d go treble 20, 20 and stand back. You’re a professional dart player.”
