According to a report from Calciomercato, Enzo Maresca is in pole position to take over as the new manager of the North London club. The 46-year-old Italian is currently unemployed after being sacked by Chelsea. Maresca has also been linked to Manchester City.

Enzo Maresca to manage Spurs?
He has previously shown his pedigree with Chelsea, and there is no doubt that he could be an acquisition for Spurs. Maresca helped Chelsea win two trophies in the last nine months.
Chelsea won the UEFA Europa Conference League in May, and then followed it up by winning the FIFA Club World Cup in July.
