DECORATING your home can seem expensive, but it doesn’t have to cost the earth.
One savvy homeowner shared how they were very impressed after buying some cushions from Shein, which transformed their lounge in seconds.
Briony Jay, who posts under @brionyjay_, told followers: “A moment for Shein’s cushions.
“The quality is absolutely unreal for the price.”
Helpfully, they then shared the cushions they had bought from the online retailer – from showing pictures on the website to what it actually looked like when it arrived.
Thankfully, they weren’t ‘catfished’ with their online purchases, and loved what was delivered.

First up, they bought a patterned beige cushion, which cost just £3.57.
Showing the cushion in situ on their sofa, they insisted that the quality is “unreal.”
They also bought a cream, waffle-textured cushion, which matched their couch.
This one was £4.66, and they added they were so “pleased” with the quality.
Briony shared how she needed to add inserts into the cushions, as it was just cases that she ordered from Shein.
She wrote: “45×45 is the first picture from Dunelm & second ones are 50×50 from Next. “Both are feather inserts.”
Her clip has clearly impressed fellow shoppers, with it racking up over 1,700 likes.
Many people rushed to the comments to give their views on her bargain buys.
One said: “I use shein for all my cushions …brilliant quality and price …especially if yr like me and change alot.”
Another added: “I love buying seasonal covers from shein, they are such good quality.”
The China-based retailer’s popularity is currently soaring in the UK, with sales jumping by nearly 40 per cent to £1.5bn in 2024.
It is expected to become Britain’s sixth largest clothing retailer by 2027.

The company was valued at $66billion in 2023, dwarfing that of popular high street brandsZaraandH&M.
The fashion retailer was founded in late 2008, by entrepreneur and marketing specialist Xu Yangtian, also known as Chris Xu.
Shein is a legitimate selling website and is not a phishing scam.
But you may receive a disappointing order or run into shipping issues if you order from the site, according to reviews.
There have been swathes of quality complaints, which makes sense when looking at the price tag.
