A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after sharing his opinion about rich women, submission, and marriage dynamics.
According to him, once a woman starts financially taking care of a man or the family, respect and submission in the relationship allegedly begin to disappear.
In his words, he said:
“You can never ever marry a rich submissive wife, it’s impossible. Once they start catering for you and taking care of the family, just turn to a woman.”
The man further claimed that wealthy women would eventually become controlling in relationships, insisting that no “real man” wants to be controlled by his partner.
He also criticised some women for allegedly having high dating standards despite not being financially stable themselves.
“You can never marry a rich woman and expect her to be submissive. No real man can be controlled, so if you want to be a real man, just know that you have to marry a woman you can control and cater for.”
“Once the table changes and that woman starts catering for you, just forget about respect in that marriage,” he added.
His comments have generated mixed reactions online, with some people agreeing with his opinion while others criticised his views about women and marriage.
One user wrote, “There are rich women who still respect their partners.” Another added, “Money should never be used to measure respect in marriage.”
