Miley Cyrus copied a preferred Bruno Mars tune for her hit “Flowers” … at the very least in keeping with a brand new lawsuit.
The singer is being sued for copyright infringement by Tempo Music Investments, an organization claiming it owns a share of the copyright for Bruno’s tune “Once I Was Your Man.”
Within the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Tempo Music claims there are such a lot of musical similarities between Miley’s “Flowers” and Bruno’s “Once I Was Your Man” that it is clearly the results of Miley “deliberately copying” Bruno.
Tempo Music claims the melody, concord and refrain in “Flowers” are considerably much like the verse in “Once I Was Your Man” … and, they are saying Miley’s tune copies the chord progressions and mirrors among the lyrics too.
Miley received a Grammy Award for “Flowers” … however Tempo Music says she would not be getting her flowers with out the Bruno tune, which was launched a decade earlier and reached the highest of the charts.
Within the docs, Tempo Music says … “It’s simple based mostly on the mix and variety of similarities between the 2 recordings that ‘Flowers’ wouldn’t exist with out ‘Once I Was Your Man.’”
Tempo Music says Miley, her label and her producers all had entry to Bruno’s tune … and so they’re going after Miley for cash, and so they need her to be barred from distributing or performing “Flowers.”
Price noting … Bruno Mars just isn’t a plaintiff within the lawsuit.
