Taraba gov swears in ex-speaker as special adviser, 16 perm secs 

Taraba Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, on Thursday, swore in Josiah Kente as Particular Adviser on Political Issues, together with 16 newly appointed Everlasting Secretaries at a ceremony held within the Govt Chamber of Authorities Home, Jalingo.

Talking on the occasion, Kefas underscored the significance of integrity, professionalism, and dedication in public service.

He urged the appointees to do their greatest to serve the state.

Kefas reminded the appointees that their choices and actions would have a long-lasting affect on the state’s folks and his administration’s dedication to shifting the state ahead.

“You’re the key drivers of our governance. The folks of Taraba will really feel the results of your management by means of the choices you make each day and the way you conduct your obligations.

“As you are taking up your roles, keep in mind that our administration is hinged on key priorities together with good governance, service supply, teamwork, and professionalism, and also you have to be exemplary in your conduct,” he charged.

Talking on behalf of the appointees, Kente expressed gratitude to the governor for the appointment and pledged their dedication to upholding the belief positioned in them.

Kente, who’s a former speaker of Taraba Home of Meeting, stated they’d all serve with integrity and align their efforts with the Governor’s coverage of inclusive governance.

The previous speaker stated, “Your Excellency, I thanks for this chance to contribute meaningfully to the event of our political panorama. I perceive the burden of this workplace, and I pledge to serve with integrity, transparency, and diligence.
