Sauce Walka Escapes Deadly Shooting in Memphis; Rapper Sayso P Killed
Houston rapper Sauce Walka narrowly avoided death in Memphis on Saturday when multiple gunmen ambushed his crew outside a hotel, opening fire in a targeted attack that left his artist, Sayso P, dead.
Newly obtained surveillance footage shows a black SUV parked in front of the hotel where Sauce Walka, Sayso P, and their crew were staying. Moments later, a white sedan pulls up, and three armed men jump out—two rushing the SUV and unleashing gunfire, while another lingers near the car. Sayso P was shot and killed at the scene, while a man believed to be Sauce Walka is seen fleeing down the street.
After executing the attack, the gunmen retreated to their vehicle and sped away.
Rumors swirled that the shooters initially stood over Sauce Walka before sparing his life, but footage contradicts those claims. Sayso P’s mother has also dismissed the reports. Sauce Walka was shot in the leg but has since reassured fans that he’s recovering.
