Guehi’s Late Header Fires Crystal Palace Into Premier League Top Four

Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi snatched a dramatic late winner to lift his side into the Premier League’s top four, heading home from a corner with just three minutes of normal time left.
For most of the match, it looked like the points would be shared after an even and entertaining contest at Craven Cottage. Harry Wilson’s superb curling strike seven minutes before half-time had cancelled out Eddie Nketiah’s confident 20th-minute opener for Palace.
Both sides pushed hard for a decisive goal in the second half, but the final bit of quality kept eluding them—until Guehi rose highest to seal back-to-back away victories for Oliver Glasner’s team.
Fulham believed they had grabbed a winner earlier when Emile Smith Rowe tapped in after Alex Iwobi’s header crashed off the bar, but the effort was ruled out for a narrow offside by Samuel Chukwueze in the build-up.
The defeat is Fulham’s second of the week after their nine-goal thriller against Manchester City, leaving them 15th in the table and four points above the relegation zone.
