England’s footie squad roared to victory earlier this summer after beating Spain in a nail-biting penalty shoot-out.
Super striker Chloe Kelly, who netted the winning penalty in the Euro final, is set to get an MBE.
Hero goalie Hannah Hampton, whose nerves of steel saved penalties in the shoot out final, is also in line for an MBE.
Strikers Alessia Russo and Michelle Agyemang and squad aces Jess Carter and Lauren James are also poised to be handed the gongs.
Captain Leah Williamson – who already has an OBE – is also expected to get an honour.
England’s Dutch Manager Sarina Wiegman is in line to be made an Honorary Dame.
This is a rare gong given to a non-Brit who has made the nation proud.
Under hear stewardship the squad have become back to back Euros champs.
PM Sir Keir Starmer dropped a massive hint that the Lionesses would bag honours in an article for The Sun on Sunday in the summer.
He wrote: “What Sarina and our Lionesses have achieved is nothing short of remarkable.
“So recognition is coming — and it will be worthy of their historic success.”
The government said it does not comment on honours before they are formally announced.
