The dad-of-two has been described by his family as a “loving sibling, loving father, a loving partner and a caring soul”.
A family tribute said Mr Johnson “would do anything for anyone. His smile, his love and his energy is infectious and would brighten up the room when he walks into it”.
“He was a loving father of two. He was a good man, a good son, that did everything and more for his family” they added.
Two men, aged35 and 58, were originally arrested as part of the inquiry but have since been freed without charge.
A woman was also detained on suspicion of assisting an offender but she has been released on bail.
Det Insp Michelle Cordell, West Midlands Police said: “Tiego and Richard Beckles will know that they are wanted, and I’d urge them to do the right thing and hand themselves in to police, before we find them.
“If anyone is helping them evade arrest, they should know that they will also face arrest.
“If you know where they are or have information that could help us find them, no matter how insignificant you think it might be, I’d urge you to get in touch with us now.
“Information will be treated in the strictest of confidence.”
