Tell Me Lies fans: Hulu has a surprise for you.
Instead of having to wait another week for more intoxicating drama from Lucy (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen (Jackson White), the streamer has dropped a third episode along with the show’s two-episode return.
The third episode of the highly anticipated third season, titled “Repent,” is also now available to stream along with the planned first two episodes — titled “You F*cked It, Friend” and “We Can’t Help It If We Are A Problem.”
The new season follows the jaw-dropping season two finale that ended (spoiler alert!) with Stephen (White) sending Lucy’s best friend and bride Bree (Cat Missal) a voice recording of Bree’s groom, Evan (Branden Cook), confessing that he slept with Lucy (Van Patten) back in college. Their one-night tryst was known to viewers, but not to Bree, who was finding out right before she is set to walk down the aisle and marry Evan during the show’s 2015-set timeline.
The third season, per Hulu, will follow Lucy and Stephen as they’ve rekindled their toxic romance in time for spring semester at Baird College in the show’s past timeline. But no matter what, chaos and controversy will always follow them: Will they be able to move past previous indiscretions that continue to haunt their relationships? As for the rest of the friends group, they must face their own destructive behaviors and accept the repercussions, all while scandalous secrets spreading around campus threatens everyone in Lucy’s circle with vicious consequences.
Tell Me Lies, created by Meaghan Oppenheimer, also stars Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Alicia Crowder and Costa D’Angelo.
The rest of season three will be released weekly until the finale on Feb. 17. Check out all of The Hollywood Reporter‘s Tell Me Lies coverage here.
