A MAJOR change to the Gladiators schedule has left fans and – particularly – parents peeved.
Football is officially playing havoc with the BBC schedule and now it has been confirmed that Gladiators has been dramatically pushed back.
The show is the latest fan-favourite to face a reshuffle from its regular spot of 5.45pm.
Prioritising coverage from the sporting event, the BBC has confirmed that the next two episodes of Series 3 will be pushed back.
Episode 5 is the final heat of this series and episode 6 marks the beginning of the quarter-finals.
In an official statement, the BBC said: “On February 14, if the football finishes in 90 minutes, Gladiators will air at 20:00.

“On February 21, Gladiators will air at 19:15.”
The move means a late finish for any younger fans watching from home – leaving parents up in arms.
Eager fans of the series who can’t wait – or stay up late – can watch the show earlier in the day.
Each episode will be available on BBC iPlayer from 4pm.
Morning Live and BBC Breakfast have also been impacted as a result of the sporting event.
The scheduling shift comes after presenters Bradley Walsh and son Barney made a worrying announcement at the start of the last episode.
Legend (aka Matt Morsia) suffered a painful injury in training and walked into the arena with his arm in a sling.
He explained: “Unfortunately, I’ve damaged my bicep tendon and I’m going to be out for a little while.
“I’ll be honest, I’m pretty devastated.” He added: “Devastated for you guys because everyone knows you literally only come here to see me.
“It is obviously very frustrating not being able to take part in the events, mainly because we did testing this morning and even with one arm I’m still easily the strongest Gladiator.”
Back for more brutality at the later time will be Gladiators Apollo, Athena, Bionic, Comet, Cyclone, Diamond, Giant, Dynamite, Electro, Fire, Hammer, Nitro, Phantom, Sabre, Steel and Viper.
Fans of the show can see Warren – aka Ace in the original 1990s Gladiators – on new ITV reality series The Summit.
Warren, who was once engaged to pin-up Katie Price, is now abecome a Church of England vicar.
