A Higher National Diploma (HND) II student has stirred reactions online after expressing frustration over the financial demands of her education.
In a video circulating on social media, the young woman complained about the rising cost of schooling, describing it as overwhelming.
She said that if she had known how financially demanding the programme would be, she might have chosen to get married before enrolling.
According to her, she has spent about ₦7.8 million since starting school, citing constant bills and payments as the reason the funds have been exhausted.
She added that once she graduates, she plans to move straight to her husband’s house rather than rent accommodation.
Her words in part …
“If I know say na do HND hard I for marry before I come school. It’s already late, I don reach HND 2. I need to graduate quickly and go to my husband house. I no dey rent any house. After I Comot from this HND II, na straight to husband house. Una dey suffer person for this school day na education. Everywhere bill bill bill. N7.8 million wey I carry come this school don finish because of pay pay.”
