Manchester United are looking to add more depth in that area of the pitch, and Davies could be an excellent addition. They need quality cover for Luke Shaw next season, and signing a left-back is one of their priorities.
Davies could help them improve defensively, and he is equally good going forward. He will also help create opportunities for his teammates. He has consistently shown his quality in Germany, and he has the technical attributes for English football as well.
Davies has 15 goals and 38 assists for Bayern Munich.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United is prepared to get the deal done. The 25-year-old is likely to cost a premium.
