According to Dutch media, Ajax have made an audacious enquiry for under-fire Liverpool manager Arne Slot as the Amsterdam giants continue their search for a permanent head coach.
The startling revelation comes from Mike Verweij of De Telegraaf, who revealed that the Eredivisie club reached out to the 47-year-old tactician despite his current role at Anfield.

Speaking on the Kick-off podcast, Verweij detailed the exchange, noting that Slot remains committed to his long-term project on Merseyside.
“I was told again that they also informed Arne Slot,” Verweij said (quotes via Soccer News).
“Slot is still very firmly in the saddle; he will continue at Liverpool. I also understood that Arne Slot is not very keen to go to Ajax at this time in his career.”
