A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after openly sharing her views on relationships, dating preferences, and why she believes some women are destined to be with older or married men.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the lady stated that she has never enjoyed dating young men despite being in her early 20s, adding that she finds more happiness and comfort in relationships with married men.

In her words, she said:

“Accept the married man toasting you. I’m in my early 20s and I’ve never enjoyed dating young guys. The married man I’m dating — intimacy, financially and happiness-wise, I’m very okay.”

The lady further stated that not everyone is destined to date people within their age group, insisting that some women naturally prefer older or already married men.

She also revealed that she believes her future may involve becoming a second or third wife, noting that she has already accepted that possibility.

“Some of us aren’t destined to date our age group. Some of us are destined to date older men or married men. For me, I know I’ll eventually end up as a second wife or third wife,” she added.

Her comments have generated heavy debate online, with some people criticising her views on married men and relationships, while others argued that adults should be free to choose the kind of relationships they want.

One user wrote, “Relationship advice for 2026 is getting serious 😅 “Accept that married man toasting you, he will treat you better” – Lady sparks debate over relationship advice” Another commented, “Na this kind advice dey scatter social media every day 😂 “Accept that married man toasting you, he will treat you better” – Lady sparks debate over relationship advice”
