If Andrew had any decency hed stop the lies and tell the truth about Epstein

Tell the truth

IF Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor had any shred of decencylefthe would agree to tell the truth about Jeffrey Epstein.

Out of love for his elder brother the King — not to mention care for the reputation of the Royal Family — he could finally set the record straight.

Andrew could help bring closure for victims and protect the Royal Family’s reputation by finally telling the truth about Jeffrey EpsteinCredit: Doug Seeburg

Stripped of his titles and banished to exile on the Sandringham Estate, the one way he canattemptto give closure to Epstein’s sex trafficking victims is to do as Prime Minister Keir Starmer demands and testify to the US Congress.

Anythinghe saidcould hardlybe worse than the damage already caused.

Andrew has lied repeatedly about his close friendship with Epstein.

In his notorious Newsnightinterviewhe said he had broken off all contact.

Cops MUST change their priorities and END the criminal plague of shoplifting

Yet newly released emails show he invited thepaedophileto Buckingham Palace after he was jailed.

He also tried to smearvictimVirginia Guiffre.

The lies must end.

While Number 10 is calling for openness from public figures over Epstein, perhaps theycould also persuade Lord Mandelson —Labour’sformer Ambassador to Washington — to do likewise?

It’stime for both men to tell us everything they know.

Just grow up

THERE was one figure absent from Keir Starmer’s trip to China — Rachel Reeves.

With any luck she will have used the time to study some textbooks on economics.

They might have given the Chancellor a few clues as to why Britain’s economy has stalled.

Imposing record taxes on workers and allowing welfare to soar out of control while taxing businesses out of existence is clearly a toxic combination.

New British Chamber of Commerce boss Andy Haldane yesterday said “warning lights continue to flash” on the economy.

Former Tory PM Rishi Sunak also urged Reeves to focus ongettinggrowth and not repeat his mistake of throwing taxpayer cash at measures to tackle the cost of living.

The Chancellor would do well to listen.

Red faces

YOU say tomato…Laboursays evil sugar.

In one of its most bonkers moves yet, the Government is considering banning foodscontainingtomatoes and other ingredients with natural sugar from being advertised ontellybefore 9pm.

The Government is so far down the obesity rabbit hole that one of its spokespeople described critics of the idea as “vested interests”.

Obesity still soared after the sugar tax was introduced.

A junk food ad ban based on this nonsense will make no difference either.
