An emotional scene unfolded in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State as the husband of Mrs. Alamu, the abducted school principal, broke down in tears while appealing for urgent action to secure her release and that of other victims.
The distraught husband made the plea during a visit by Governor Seyi Makinde to the affected community following the kidnapping incident that involved teachers and students.
Overcome with emotion, he urged the governor to intensify efforts to ensure the safe rescue of his wife and the other individuals still being held captive. He expressed deep concern for their safety and appealed for swift intervention.
Recall that gunmen attacked several schools in the Esiele community of Oriire Local Government Area, Oyo State, including Community High School, Esiele, where teachers and students were abducted.
The abduction has continued to generate concern across the state, with residents, community leaders, and concerned Nigerians calling for urgent measures to secure the release of all victims and improve security in the area.
