Tottenham and Aston Villa want to sign Youssouf Fofana

AdminBy AdminMay 1, 2026Updated:May 2, 2026No Comments2 Mins Read

AC Milan is prepared to sanction the departure of French International midfielder Youssouf Fofana at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old is a target for Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur. According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, the two clubs have already submitted offers to the player’s representatives, and it will be interesting to see if they come forward with an official proposal to sign him.

Milan set Youssouf Fofana asking price

Milan paid €25 million to secure his signature, and they are looking to recoup the money in the summer. The asking price is affordable for a club like Aston Villa and Tottenham. It will be interesting to see if they are prepared to pay up.

They need more physicality and defensive cover in the middle of the park. Fofana will help his team regain possession of the ball and break down the opposition’s attacking moves.

He has shown his quality for club and country, and this is the right time for him to move to the Premier League. He has the physical and technical attributes for English football. He could establish himself as a key player for Aston Villa or Tottenham.

Where willFofana end up?

It will be interesting to see where he ends up. The West Midlands club could compete in the UEFA Champions League next season, and that could make them an attractive destination for the midfielder. On the other hand, Tottenham is fighting for survival in the Premier League. Even if they stay up, they will not be competing in Europe next year.

Whoever signs the 27-year-old midfielder could have a very useful player on their hands for a reasonable price.
