Social media activist Verydarkman has sparked reactions online following comments about insecurity and the ongoing concern over abducted victims in Oyo State.

He made this known during a recent protest over the continued insecurity.

In the video shared on social media, Verydarkman referenced previous remarks by Islamic cleric Ahmad Gumi regarding the government’s knowledge of criminal groups operating in parts of the country.

He argued that Nigerians deserve greater transparency and more decisive action in addressing kidnapping, terrorism, and related security challenges.

The activist also reflected on the nationwide Bring Back Our Girls campaign that followed the 2014 abduction of schoolgirls in Chibok, suggesting that public attention on security issues should remain consistent and sustained rather than fading over time.

He said …

“Sheikh Gumi Said The Government Knows The Terrorists, K!dnapp£rs, That’s Means Government are the K!dnapp£rs and t£rr0r!st , E Be Like Say We Will Go Oyo State Enter The Bush. The mistake we made in 2014 was that we protested that they bring back our girls and then moved on. That is why boko haram had the audacity to continue”
