A video circulating on social media claiming that Nigerian musician Bella Shmurda lost $4 million in a real estate scam is fak and dates from 2023.
On Tuesday, a social media user released a video of the singer performing live. The clip’s caption claimed that the singer burst into tears after paying $4 million for a house, only to discover that the vendor was not the actual owner and had already fled.

Contrary to popular belief, a source discloses that the video is outdated and inaccurate.
According to the insider, the film was initially shot in 2023 during an Instagram live session following the death of fellow musician Mohbad, and is not related to any recent property issue.
“This is fake news. We are not sure where the agenda came from. “That video is from 2023,” the person stated.
