Social media personality and activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has reacted to the ongoing dispute involving PSquare brothers Peter and Paul Okoye and their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
VDM, who has continued to speak about the controversy, addressed those criticising his position, accusing some people of trying to intimidate him into stopping his commentary on the matter.
“You all want to instil fear in me to stop talking, but it won’t work. I will still be here when all of you attacking Paul and Jude will change your narrative just like you did with the case of Mohbad, Blessing CEO, and even Femi Gbajabiamila. I own this media. And there’s nothing you all can do about it,” he said.
He also referenced previous controversies involving Mohbad, Blessing CEO and Femi Gbajabiamila, claiming that narratives changed after he had spoken out during those incidents.
VDM further claimed that Peter approached him for a reason, but suggested that the singer became unhappy after he decided to conduct his own independent findings into the dispute rather than simply taking sides against Peter’s brothers.
“Peter came to me for a reason. And now that the reason is not being actualised, you all are angry. Peter wanted me to come out and speak against his brothers, but what he didn’t bank on is me doing my own findings,” he added.
His comments have generated mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians praising him for maintaining his position while others questioned his involvement in the private dispute between the brothers.
The latest development has further fuelled discussions surrounding the long-running P-Square crisis as Peter, Paul and Jude continue to present different sides of the story.
