A US-based Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after expressing frustration with life abroad and saying she misses the lively atmosphere of Nigeria.

In a viral video, the lady said she was tired of living in the United States, describing the country as too quiet and boring.

“I want to go back to Nigeria, I’m tired of abroad I swear. This place is too quiet. It’s too boring. I miss Agbero. I swear.”

Her comments have generated mixed reactions, with social media users questioning whether she genuinely wants to return or was simply creating content.

Nigerians react to her comments

One social media user, Tim Gerald, suggested that the woman might be missing the lifestyle associated with commercial transport workers and park leaders.

“May be na babe to all those high profile agbero turn park chairman and NURTW chairman.”

Jibson, however, reminded her of some of the challenges she may encounter if she returns to Nigeria.

“You miss Agbero. You don’t miss the good roads ,the good security, the good economy, you did not miss our Bandit brothers.”

Another user, Ogo_fct, jokingly suggested that she might already be planning her return but wanted to avoid questions about her decision.

“She fit don comiit make she dey find way to run come back, so if she comes back no one would say why did she come back.”

Elisha also urged her to return but warned that life in Nigeria comes with its own difficulties.

“Come back o, but make sure you miss agbero with your full chest when NEPA take light, fuel hit 1200, and traffic hold you 3hrs. Abroad boring, Nigeria will give you content daily.”

JerryBlaq accused the woman of creating content rather than genuinely planning to return to Nigeria.

“The agbero that our president introduced 😂 “I want to go back to Nigeria, I miss Agbero” — US-based Nigerian lady cries out 😂 “I want to go back to Nigeria, I miss Agbero” — US-based Nigerian lady cries out she’s just doing content she can’t come back to Nigeria because she’s listening to Nigeria News everyday.”

Kaka also questioned the sincerity of her comments, arguing that people who genuinely want to return home do not necessarily need to announce it online.

“She just wants her village people to know that she is in the US. Those who genuinely want to come back home don’t need emotions or internet attention before they make the move to return.”
