A Nigerian woman has shared a shocking experience involving her late husband’s family, leaving many people stunned online.
According to her, the incident occurred just four months after she lost her husband, while she was still trying to adjust to life on her own.
Narrating the ordeal, she said:
“My husband’s elder brother came to meet me and said he wanted me to have a child for him because he has been married for 17 years without a child.
I asked him why me, and he said he wants me to do it for him. I refused. I told him I cannot have a child for two brothers in the same family.”
She explained that the situation escalated after she turned down the request, as the matter did not end there.
The woman said she was later summoned by her mother-in-law, who confronted her over the same issue.
“My mother-in-law asked me why I refused. I told her I can’t do such a thing. She then told me that if I’m not willing to do it, I should leave their family. I felt disrespected and decided to walk away,” she added.
Her story has since sparked widespread reactions online.
