Not everyone will marry a single man, some are destined for married men – Pastor sparks outrage with advice for ladies

AdminBy AdminMay 10, 2026Updated:May 10, 2026No Comments2 Mins Read

A pastor identified as Odekunle Epaphras has sparked reactions online after sharing controversial advice about marriage, relationships, and why some women remain single in their late 20s and 30s.

In a viral video shared on TikTok, he stated that not every woman is destined to marry a single man, adding that some women may eventually end up with married men if the relationship is properly handled and accepted by the family involved.

“Not everyone will marry a single guy. There are some people that are destined to get married to a married man. If the married man is ready to marry you the right way, and also ready to come and meet your family, and has settled it with his first wife, then go ahead,” he said.

The pastor also claimed that once some women clock 29 or 30 years old, especially those with what he described as a “mummy look,” single men allegedly stop approaching them for relationships.

He advised single ladies to change their appearance and dressing style, adding that women who drive cars may unknowingly discourage men from approaching them.

“When a woman clocks 29 or 30, especially the one that has mummy look, single guys will stop asking you out. Only married men will be interested in you.”

“If you really want to get married or settle down, make sure you park your car in your compound in the evening and stroll out. Don’t go out with cars,” he added.

Sharing an example, the pastor narrated how he once advised two unmarried sisters to sell their cars after their mother asked him to pray for them concerning marriage.

He claimed the women later got married after following his advice.

His comments have generated mixed reactions online, with some people agreeing with parts of his relationship advice, while others criticised the statements as controversial and outdated.
